After graduating with a fine art degree from the University of Alberta in printmaking, I started out in graphic design and small business consulting, settling into corporate marketing and project management. While work has been creative in its own way, in all those years, I hadn't ever picked up a paint brush. 

Through the encouragement of loved ones, I decided to dabble in painting again, thinking it would be an occasional past time. Re-acquainted with the quiet joy of play, a trickle became a flow, a flow became a river, and since January 2021 I've been painting part-time in my home-based studio, now in Barrhead, Alberta, Canada.  

At this point, I'm more of a learner than a professional - immersing in all things art, meeting artists and collectors, growing my skills, and developing my practice. Best of all, I love seeing where this river takes me, and I'm happy to share all of it with you as it flows.
